Koreans actually celebrate #solstice on the 22nd (it's the 21st according to calculations of the placement of the earth). Traditionally you should eat bean porridge #팥죽 on winter solstice, so I stopped at the sijang & picked some up. The juk sellers had a large sign to remind everyone #동지

"For many years Koreans have called themselves the people of ‘한 많은 역사’, this is roughly translated as the people having experienced many examples of unfairness, grief, suffering & despair (한, Han) in their history," writes Christopher Smith:

She and others admitting psychological and social bullying is much more commonplace now and it’s just as bad as physical bullying if not even worse.

Always remarkable the way Koreans can so easily and frankly acknowledge truths that westerners would never acknowledge in a thousand years.

Koreans are living in the 21st century and we are just catching up. This bag of soup was in the refrigeration section and contained a whole fucking chicken stuffed with rice with a properly gelatinous stock.

1. This exam is waaaaaaaay too hard. Not just this year, but every year. Remember this is the English section for Koreans not native born English speakers.
2. What is this "English" exam testing? Vocabulary? Reading comprehension? Logical reasoning? All of the above in a single question?

I fucked with him even before his bomb about African Americans taught Koreans how to fry chicken. Thats my guy 4L

That episode sure did air in 2007. Setting aside all the stereotypes they were punching out in that episode, the one that actually got me shaking my head was Dennis and Charlie witnessing Mr. Kim loudly and aggressively yelling at his daughter in front of the two.

Koreans don't really do that, yo.

An actual case: Stardew Valley. An actual indie game by a guy who had to spend ten or so years making a game, supported by his spouse. Had no money, no publisher and couldnt outsource to Koreans like Sandfall could.

My wife and I did the same thing. We thought the movie would be a disaster flick (the Koreans do that really well -- see Train to Busan), then it shifted to deep sci-fi. It was like bait and switch.

This is from October 2025 BUT it’s just a reminder that this is the same dirtbag who in his first term told the N. Koreans to behave because there was a nuclear sub in the waters nearby…being led by the criminally STUPID❗️

The Afghanistan war was finished by the mothers of conscripts from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
Putin learned from that by arresting protesting conscripts mothers/relatives early.
He has also used prisoners, junkies, mercenaries, North Koreans, Africans, Asians and now Indians.

I do not resent these posts because they are true. Have we stormed the building like the South Koreans did when their PM stepped over the line?! No! We keep waiting to be saved. Will you lead the revolution back to sanity? We are our own saviors in this scenario!

Spent too long assuming this meant South Koreans think the government pays me to be this fit

I asked a teammate from Türkiye why so many Turkish people are so nice to Koreans, and I was asked why so many Korean people are nice to people from Türkiye.

》Because you treat us so nicely!《
…And it was vice versa. I hope it lasts forever.

I am watching the Vietnam war on PBS. America under the Truman act, vowed to stop communism. We fought two wars. The Korean War and the Vietnamese war. I’ve had the privilege of working with people who escaped from Russia and China. I’ve worked with S Koreans. It’s been educational.

The behavior of those in charge is confusing in the terror exhibited by trying to outdo the North Koreans in terms of abject hero worship of a Sundowning elderly man in poor health.

And then I remember Kushner and Ivanka had 4 years of no official duties and highest security clearances.

Koreans forced their Government to change weeks...Bulgaria the same...weeks. Through protest.

Your Government is protecting people who ran ...a Pedophile Rape Island Buffet of Teenage Girls... Protecting people who knew about it, participated in it, who covered it up.

I've been followed by Koreans but asked if I work at the very same store by whites.🫠🥲
While I don't recall being followed in a store, I for damn sure have been asked if I worked there
