He has an image in his head about what he wants a partnership to be and Akaza only gets through it because he is PERSISTENT. I think Akaza is taken aback (but pretty happy) when he realizes that Kyojuro won't let a hookup stay a hookup and is determined to have a relationship after their first time

Okay! My Kyojuro Kimegaku headcanon is that Kyojuro is incredibly reserved (and innocent) when it comes to relationships. Despite his friendly and outgoing attitude, he is very focused on finding "the one" and because of that doesn't let himself indulge in a lot of things Tengen and Sanemi do

Kyojuro is such an idealist and has shown he, like Giyuu, will think outside the box if he feels like it's the right thing to do. He taught himself flame breathing against his father's wishes, he took on many students including Mitsuri, who didn't fit the typical mold. He's also very empathetic

I have to disagree but I can understand why people think that. I think she had the best chance of being spared by Giyuu given Giyuu's own memory of Tsutako throwing herself in front of him and his overall outlook, but I think there's a chance either Mitsuri or Kyojuro would've made the same choice

One day a party comes back with a survivor, who is in bad shape. As they take him into the infirmary, Kyōjurō recognizes it as Hakuji but he’s very different. Strange tattoos, pink hair and once he’s conscious, he has no memory of Rengoku or anything in his late teen life.

Time skip, we find Kyōjurō and his brother hunting in the woods of the mountains. They’ve become part of a large community of people living in near isolation. Located in the mountains, somewhat self sustaining, growing food and leading foraging parties to get supplies like medicine.

and a little bit before. Kyōjurō and Hakuji were friends, they met working at the same grocery store. Some of the other Hashiras worked there. Hakuji essentially has the same backstory lost his father as a teen but was taken in by Keizo, gets with Koyuki etc.
