I didn’t. And while a lot did (55%) of Latinos voted for him, se timber’s have changed. He is also not on the ballot. Insulting Latinos is not going to win you statewide races. You cannot win statewide without Latinos. Just look at the numbers.

One thing the nation learned yesterday in Miami's mayoral race, is that just because a candidate's name is 'Gonzalez' doesn't mean they represent the interests of Latinos.

U.S. Latinos are now more worried about being asked to prove their legal status during their daily activities (43% today vs. 31% in March), and roughly 1 in 5 have changed their daily routines because of it.

I've spoken about this with @slooterman.bsky.social in the past, Democrats and Republicans approach the disability vote the same way they approach Latinos. Republicans think that since many disability advocates are religious, they court their vote. Democrats expect them to just vote for them.
