Today was marked off as a recovery and catch up day so after I dealt with the emails I'd been ignoring all week I didn't get mad at myself when instead of the book chapter I need to finish before December I ended up editing a chapter for the book that's not due till next year.
If Judaism has been systematically written out of scholarship in the wider field of religion and the arts and, as I have argued, this writing-out has been a product of the field’s incapacity for recognising the extent of its Christian theological bias, the correct reparative move is not simply an assimilationist admission that Jews can make art, too—that Rothkos and Chagalls and Asher Levs exist, struggling against the confines of their tradition to contribute a small spark of genius to the great melting-pot of the Judeo-Christian Western Cultural Tradition. Christian theologians must relearn the spiritual discipline of self-denial even and especially when it comes to the baptism and canonisation of a highly restricted selection of Jewish thinkers.

People don’t understand how unbelievably big the LEVs are. They’re fucking massive. If they took the same design and made it LLV size they’d be great but they’re ridiculous.

Die SR hat wohl gesagt, es sei schwierig gewesen, die dunklen Trikots der LEVs in der entfernten Ecke, wo der Mast war, zu sehen. Vielleicht auch für die SR-Assist auf der anderen Seite. Muss man dann wohl so akzeptieren. Wenn sie z.B. ein Handspiel nicht sieht, ist sie ja die Dumme (zumal ohne VAR)
