Hey, we need some help!

We often hear that there are studies that prove that taking a test in the same environment boosts test scores (e.g. math test in the math classroom).

However, we are struggling to find a source. Any source. Anybody have any leads?

However, our analysis underscores important complexities overlooked in this discourse: Teachers’ own agentic synthesis with their context... that is, the way they get creative and messy as they meet the multiple (and often competing) demands of their work.

Indeed, we need more research into electronic dance music in classroom settings. Preferrably, using educational data mining techniques. We'll call it EDM²

Learning Sciences folk, if you’ve used Tanner Vea’s work in your course (e.g., required readings, etc.), do let Tanner know.

A good idea to do for other assistant or associate faculty, as it’s a fantastic way to show impact beyond citation counts or journal quartile.
