For several hours on Jan. 6, 2021, I did not know for certain, that our country would survive. Any belief that the political divisions in this country were simply just 2 opposing views died on Jan. 6. The folks who attacked the capital wanted an oligarchy, a dictatorship.

Trump pardoned leaders of the white supremacist, rabidly anti-Semitic terrorist group the Proud Boys. You may know them by their motto “6MWE” — which stands for “6 Million Wasn't Enough.” Yes, they’re referring to the Holocaust.

Trump says he’s so concerned about keeping criminals out of this country, yet he just pardoned over 1,500 people convicted for the January 6 Capitol attack. Even two top police organizations are condemning the pardons.
