The stress of not knowing from 1 day to the next takes its toll. At this point, I’m actively seeking employment elsewhere, so if anyone is looking to hire, I’m a recent, non-traditional, college graduate wanting a career change & to make a difference. #LesMis#MyShot#tiredbutstrongmindsofbluesky
Is it difficult to produce bullet points? No. Should we have to respond to an overreach? No. Do I feel continually threatened? Yes. My life is not a game. I find it so strategic to send a mass email on a weekend when most federal workers have no access to their emails. The song that comes into my head each day starts with “Rise up…I’m not throwin’ away my shot.” Throughout the day I see people standing with Charlie Chaplain’s message in “The Final Speech” - “Do not give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you, enslave you, who regiment your lives, tell you what to do, what to think and what to feel! Don’t give yourselves to these unnatural men, machine men with machine minds and machine hearts! You are not machines! You are not cattle!…You, the people, have the power…to create happiness…to make this life free & beautiful…let us fight for a new world…that will give men a chance to work…give youth a future & old age a security…to do away with greed, with hate and intolerance…let us all all unite”
