#Light-Years
Two stars, smoldering in the night sky. Seperated by millions of light years and eons of time, but burning fiercely together from the only points of view that matter.

In a decision on Thursday that upended 74 years of precedent, the Arkansas Supreme Court killed one of the few remaining protections for direct democracy in Arkansas and gave the state Legislature the green light to undo any constitutional amendment initiated and passed by voters

Because the Biden regime blew inflation up to a 40 year high over four years, it might a hot minute to get sh!t under control. The economy doesn’t work like a light switch.

Netherlands is light years ahead of London.
In 2021, two new cycling bridges were opened on the border between Dutch places 's Hertogenbosch and Vught.

Previously, there was a level crossing intersection but with the arrival of a new turbo roundabout for car traffic, this was no longer desirable in terms of safety and traffic flow.

Everyone being light years ahead in clock management has changed things too. I think 4th timeout may be necessary.

Your FOG OF LIES has kept a man from me for 58 years when I had no idea for 53 years. You lied to him to keep him from being with me. Now I have an idea

YOU TOTALLY HAVE ME LIVING ON DARK SIDE AS IF THE MOON WITH NO LIGHT TO SEE WHO I AM THROUGH YOUR LIES.

I HAVE PAIN & LOSS OF LIFE FROM YOUR HATE

I’ve been so busy these last couple of months, I haven’t had the time to do much. I wrote a sequel to a holiday book that I self published a couple years ago and it did ok. But then, the original always crawls back to the light around this time of year. Maybe someday I can make a living on writing.

The first Hanukkah was almost 2000 years ago. And we always find the light in dark times. They can’t stop that.

We Aussies are bereft today; horrified at our most deadly mass shooting in 30 years. But how much worse would it have been if, instead of shotguns and bolt-action rifles, they'd had semi- or automatic weapons?

Light a candle for us, and pressure your representatives.

At the very end of the prestige drama you can cut to 250 years later and have a rabbi writing the Talmud raise a brow and be like, "this is a fucked up story, what if it was a festival of light?" and a second rabbit leans in, like, "Hell yeah. but go bigger, maybe a great miracle happened there?"

It's not supposed to be a mystery?

Dude, it's about a alien transmission from 600 million light years away that turns Earth into a happy farm and 12 people are left, with only two of them trying to reverse it.

@nickbaumgardner.bsky.social Alright, maybe I'm just imagining things. But it feels like every time Miles Frazier is in, he's light years better than Colon, but then we keep doing this rotating thing. Am I just making it up? Maybe I'm just watching Colon too closely.

Me a few years ago: people go so overboard with Christmas lights and decor nonsense.

Me now: Mongo the gingerbread man is tired of being ignored and taken for granted during the holiday season. He teamed up with the house spider to put Santa and Frosty in their places.

Today marks 13 years since 20 first graders and six educators were killed by 154 bullets fired in less than five minutes inside Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Tens of thousands of Americans lose loved ones to gun violence each year. It doesn’t have to be this way 💔

Chag Sameach!
This painting by Isidor Kaufman is “The Son of the Miracle-working Rabbi of Belz.” A serious young man. A Hasidic dynasty founded in 19th century in the town of Belz, Ukraine near the Polish border, almost all members were murdered in the Holocaust when Hitler invaded Poland in 1939.

Mark your calendars for November 2026. By then, Voyager 1 will have taken nearly 50 years to complete a journey that light could cover in just one day. The question is — can the mission go even farther?

Always watching the world through a CRT Cable TV filter lol. I get a lot of light sensitivity and floaties, too. XD Told my mom when I was little and she looked horrified so I told her I was joking. All those years later, I find out it's a thing and not just something I wasn't supposed to notice lol
