It was enormous. Like 2017 Women’s March. If this was only 20 minutes ago, it’s likely a lot fewer than were in Grant Park - there was a lot of confusion about where/when the marching would actually start so a *ton* of us bailed.
The No Kings March in Chicago is one of the largest gatherings I’ve seen here. Looking down from by the river, the crowd stretches for blocks down Michigan Ave and wraps around Wacker Dr. This video is from a few minutes ago and the end of the protest is nowhere in sight.

I believe it started with them telling young people that college was overrated. They made fun of English, liberal arts, communications degrees. This was strategic, imo, to control the narrative, and they succeeded. AI, imo, is a great example. Now, we have people like Musk controlling narratives.

Book Complete!
☆☆☆☆.5
This had to be one of my fav books this year.
I would recommend you like vengeful ghost stories.
Trigger warning tho: this is about girl who‘s sister is killed by a serial killer targeting Asian women during Covid, and there is a lot of gore, especially towards the end.

Me: haha this feels like cheating, I’m simply using several pieces of musical knowledge I’ve acquired through lessons and study along with time I’ve spent practicing to improv, it’s not like I’m any good at this

Ah. Thanks for context.
I'll never understand this type of discourse.
It comes off like they don't actually like the medium or if an opinion is out of the norm, that it's automatically wrong or dumb.
My condolences

Every so often I come across a video that shows one of these tools, and I’m like wow, you could do that? But then it’s so complicated that I don’t have the patience to look it up again when I need it.

I‘ve never used anything else than procreate. It’s what I started with, and I don’t have the money for proper art programs. It’s relatively easy to use, and I like the brushes, but yes, unfortunately a lot of tools that would make the progress a lot faster are impossible to find.
