It’s been a dry spell of #newadditions to the #recordcollection so this week’s latest arrivals include #LindaRonstadt’s 10th album, 1980’s #MadLove, #Erasure’s 14th album, 2011’s #TomorrowsWorld (on limited 2CD), another #BonnieTyler compilation & #Kylie’s 1991 #cdsingle #WordIsOut

Continuing my evening with this glorious #MobileFidelity pressing of #LindaRonstadt’s 1973 album #DontCryNow

Love this album … her covers of #SailAway #EverybodyLovesAWinner #Desperado & #LoveHasNoPride outshine the originals (IMO)

"Blue Bayou" is a song written by #RoyOrbison and #JoeMelson. It was originally sung and recorded by Orbison, who had an international hit with his version in 1963. It later became #LindaRonstadt's #signatureSong, with which she scored a top 5 hit with her cover in 1977.

Next up is #PaulSimon’s 1986 classic #Graceland

With its South African influences, it reached UK No 1 (8 x Plat) / US No 3 (5 x Plat), & won the 1987 #Grammy for #AlbumoftheYear

#YouCanCallMeAl may be best known, but it’s #LindaRonstadt’s vocal on #UnderAfricanSkies which shine brightest for me

#NewAddition to the #RecordCollection with this VG+/VG+ copy of #LindaRonstadt’s debut album #HandSownHomeGrown

This is a 1976 Netherlands repress on #EMIGold but sounds superb, and the vinyl is in great condition.

Love this album … would love to find an original 1969 copy

This has got to be one of #LindaRonstadt’s best #songs
