Hey nerds. In the market for a 16-port home-use gigabit switch. TP-Link? Netgear? Linksys? Anyone have any preferences? The 100base-T switch I'm replacing is Linksys, but I went with a TP-Link Router ("Archer"??) when I needed a new one.

Got ourselves a new router, being an Asus one. Just bridged it with my old linksys nodes so I can still use the ethernet on them. So far works well 👀

I got an email touting the new Asus WiFi router built with AI. It’s so fucking dumb. Who needs this? So Asus can collect literally all of my household data?

Looking to replace my “old” Linksys LAPAC 1200 access point by a Wi-Fi 6 or 7 capable one.
Must not be a “Cloud” ting, SNMP compatibility is a plus.
Not againsr bying an hostapd compatible Wi-Fi 6/7 card and put it in my home server to use it as a Wi-Fi AP.
Any advice on what hardware to use? […]

To, vismaz teorētiski, tas Linksys māk.
