on the news, from Duotrope, that one of my favourite little #litmags is defunct - I'd like to send a shout-out to editors and readers who work hard to bring our words to the world. Your efforts do not go unnoticed. Thank you! #WritingCommunity #PoetryCommunity #litmags

Lots of litmags had free submission windows for the month that have already closed, but not Flight!

I started at @splitlipthemag.bsky.social in 2018. It changed my trajectory as a reader & writer. I'm beyond grateful to @maureenlangloss.bsky.social & Split Lip! I'm stepping down this month bc of work obligations. But: volunteer at litmags! The community&experience will change you in the best ways!

Sushi Rejection Project update! I'm at 22 rejections in a row, which is the highest number I've ever gotten and is weirdly kind of a relief. I've already gotten to the highest number, what's the worst that can (1/??)

A2 Years ago on Twitter I found writers who celebrate each other’s work. I feel sort of invisible now and probably others feel the same. I’ve had wonderful indie book recommendations by the authors on social media, and links to online litmags where I’ve later been published. #WomenWritersNet
