I had a dream between my 6:30 alarm and my 6:45 alarm that my alarms didn't go off and I woke up at 7:18 and ran to the bathroom to discover the lodger loitering outside it because it was occupied. Confusion - we open the door - mum is sitting on the loo. I see her face in great detail and

I'm kinda semi-retired in that I don't have to pay rent, and have a lodger who covers the bills. Just.
The house is left to me in my dad's will, so it will be mine and I want it to actually *feel* like it's mine. Currently it still feels like the house I grew up in :¬/

My lodger was shocked on walking into the kitchen and finding me listening to Manchester rapper #Aitch I explained that I’m quite a fan, despite being 100. I love the fact that he refers to roads around here as if they’re riddled with gangsters. I’m now listening to Salif Keita, who I once met.

I was surprised to see that Hitchcock was making films during the silent film era, I had always thought he started closer to the 40s. Anyway, a pretty solid film! A good sense of dread and build up and a rather wholesome pair in our main leads.
