Enfield Council has opened a new path between Rectory Farm Road & Hilly Fields, with signs along the river on Section 17 of the #LondonLoop. Our volunteers have rewalked Section 17 and we’ve published an adaptation to our route guidance.

Finally kicked off the @ldnloop-capring.bsky.social this morning, a very windy 9 mile walk from Erith to Bexley with @gojauntly.bsky.social as my trusty guide. Hard to believe some of this scenery is still technically in London, gorgeous stuff. Looking forward to getting stuck in now.

The lovely thing about the #londonloop is it takes you through places you've never been before, and confirms why.

For those starting from section 1 at Erith, don't worry, it does get better.

Second part of LOOP Day 4. Traversed railway lines, streams and open commons and finished just past Orpington.

I have split the LOOP into 30 evenly paced sections that suit my timetable and work with public transport connections.
