So today marks the start of a week of intensive activity from the @MetTaskforce in the West End in @MPSWestminster.

The day began with activity tracking and arresting offenders wanted for offending in Westminster. 6 hard to reach offenders arrested.

I got talking to some members of the public earlier about what our days are really like? 👀

Varied! 😅

Today on #PublicOrder duties I have:

✅ Met a colleague from Zurich
✅ Policed #CityofLondon
✅ Travelled to North London
✅ And worked with #MetTaskforce

I got to meet one of our new recruits today.

One of our future @MetTaskforce search dogs scampered into my office and brought a smile to my face

Eva joined the @MetTaskforce in 2011 working hard until she developed a prolapsed disk which forced her to retire in 2017 after surgery

London Retired Police Dogs Trust supported Eva in retirement on several occasions to ensure she lived her best retirement

Small but mighty. Rest easy girl

I figured over the last twelve days of the year we should look back & reflect! 👀

So let’s start back in January 2024, when a shoplifter thought they’d be able to ‘hoof it’ away and ‘neigh-ver’ be caught! 😂
