I want separate applications that perform some functions inside Unreal Engine. For example, app editor that will allow me to create MetaSound without running Unreal Engine. What do you see besides Meta Sound?

I’ve lightened the processing for some of the sound effects (the first clip in the video is before the improvement, the second is after).
In UE5’s MetaSound, heavy processing can cut off the start of a sound, so I worked on fixing that.

One thing to try is to make a Metasound "Patch" (it's different to a source) and it looks like you can drag metasounds sources in and patch them together.

And this is a case where these different inputs are all hooked into the sidechain for another sound — I haven't actually tried piping audio from one metasound into another via a blueprint, but somehow that doesn't feel like a great solution either

Because you shouldn't have to think about "coin" or "Bernoulli gate" to find a metasound node that triggers with a chance...
Renamed the Trigger Filter node to be Trigger Chance and rephrased tooltips to make it clearer. Coming in UE5.7!

Sometimes coincidence activates memories... while working on MetaSound in Unreal Engine, I accidentally created a sound that activated a memory, this is from Half-Life 2, when Antlion fly. #UnrealEngine is cool

Today I decided to create a universal Unreal Engine MetaSound algorithm that will receive information about the surface of the object and the hit and also change the sound by frequency. I think it turned out great, maybe someday I'll show the code...

I'll show my Unreal Engine example of footstep sounds. Unfortunately, MetaSound cannot accept custom Enum. Also can't have a custom type as enum, don't believe the google search ai example. I decided that there would be one MS, to which I would pass min and max values... #gamedev #UnrealEngine

The night was scary, lots of explosions, evil continues to kill us... I slept a little and remembered that I wanted to try how to affect the speed of sound voice with a curve in Unreal Engine MetaSound. So, I try the WaveTable Banks, and its also funny with LFO (not UFO) #UnrealEngine #gamedev

Unreal Engine, MetaSound is also a way to take a break from creating gameplay and for example, make random music in 10 minutes: horror from the 60s. Here I use a node SuperOscillator + AD Envelope #UnrealEngine #MetaSound #gamedev

I plan to use only metasound as a hight layer that will play sound files (wav). Even if this metasound will not affect the sound file. Why use sound invocation without metasound? I don't see the logic in this, it's Epic goal, as I know

My stub/temp Metasound that I might even leave, or improve a little. The energy bridge, the Niagara effect, can really be perfectly voiced in metasound. I need to experiment more, because my Sci-Fi game setting has a lot that metasound can give #UnrealEngine #gamedev #metasound #indiedev
