Actually, in the books it wasn’t Aragrom. The exploding butt moment originally happened to Tar-Minastar, 11th King of Númenor, during the Akallabêth section of THE SILMARILLION. It was really controversial that they changed it for the film just bc of actor Viggo Morgenstern’s well known IBS issues.
