I knew it would happen, but found confirmation in post-election chatter on a local public Facebook group: A small (yet vocal) subset of people thought they were voting to oust the federal Liberals yesterday. 🤦 Ignorance of even the most basic principles of Canadian civics knows no bounds. #nsvotes

Our dear friend Gary Burrill will most certainly be missed as our MLA in Halifax Chebucto, and leaves big shoes to fill — both in the riding, and provincially during his years as Leader of the Nova Scotia NDP.

I am fully convinced that Krista is not only up for the challenge, but will excel as MLA.

Polling stations across the province opened at 8am but the Mushaboom location wasn’t able to open until 9am As a result, the polling station will remain open for voting until 9pm
