Bluetongue found in England last week. One was a sheep that was put down for welfare reasons in Oxfordshire. The others were cattle in Herefordshire found by pre movement testing, that were heading to Wales.
It is serious, but is near

TWO new cases of BTV-3 have been confirmed today. Two cattle were confirmed positive in Herefordshire following a non-negative pre-movement test & one sheep in Oxfordshire was confirmed positive following a report of suspicious clinical signs. #BattleBluetongue
