There is a baby at Corn Coast, which is packed to the gills and then some by both humans and dogs, just napping like there's nothing happening around them, and that's the level of unbothered I aspire to reach

No coffee or black tea,or anything containing caffein,moderate cardio exercise during the day( because it makes you more exhausted and prone to sleep at night), reduce the stress to a minimum, try to stay away from news( i know it's important but your health is also important!!),try to avoid napping

Trying to wash the bedsheets but the feline roommate was very unhappy about it so HIS blanket has not been washed (even tho it REALLY needs a wash) because he's sleeping on it and wouldn't settle just on the normal bedspread and now I can't finish making the bed because he's napping 😹😹

This is something I scream from the rooftops every time a friend brushes off or minimizes their sleep deprivation and the stress causing/caused by it. It IS important.
Sleeping in / napping isn't wasting time, it's your body recovering to be a stronger, functional, happier creature! GET YOUR REST 💖

Sleep is a biological necessity, and sleep deprivation has real physical, psychological, and social consequences that need to be taken seriously. The way our society treats it as slothful to sleep according to natural rhythms (including midday naps and variant chronotypes like night owls) is evil.
