I see you using NordVPN to try to hide your IP address to -try- to attack my client's stuff.

*sends all traffic for the entire netblock to /dev/null/*

Keep it up. It's fun.

Twitter can be turned off by a country's government blocking Twitter's entire netblock.

Does Bluesky's federated model make government censorship more challenging?

Thought experiment: If you were the government of Turkey, how would you censor the entire Bluesky federation?

(iii) anything regarding CIDR notation 😱 (when I was reading the new netblock back to him, I read off the starting IP address, and put a "/28" on the end of it -- and he had to correct me by saying that "there is no '28' on the end" 🙄)

Sadly, those parts of India where mobile Internet had been shut down by the govt (like J&K) aren't galloping with #DigitalIndia. #NetBlock https://x.com/drajaykumar_ias/status/802887937029337088

But since I'd rather code than complain, I updated graymilter to handle netblocks - sort of. It already had a way to specify a list of addresses and netblocks to always allow. I changed that to handle multiple lists, and used it to deal with the netblock […]

Oh that's interesting; I tried adding a link card for a site, and it borked because the site didn't like being touched that way:

Access to this page has been denied
<insert url here>
px-captcha

.. guessing however bsky curls out, the netblock might be have been flagged as naughty at some point

Why, then, does the govt block Internet access in so many parts of India so frequently?

AS49447 IPv4 Peers:
AS50673Serverius Holding B.V.
AS51395Datasource AG

AS49447 IPv6 Peers:
AS51395Datasource AG

This is a manageable list. Only two upstreams, and only one of the upstreams carries IPv6 traffic (and the hint earlier was Swiss netblock).

I am dying to find out if they planned to keep Lemon8 operating (otherwise why spend so much effort getting influencers to push tiktok users to it) but it had a dependency on some database inside tiktok and Oracle et al just yanked BGP for the whole netblock.

You can email [email protected] and inform them of the current DNS resolution of kiwifarms[.]net being 103.114.191.1 which is on a netblock being announced by AS397702 and transited through AS56655 to them.

Include evidence of specific pages that violate AUP, as well as news coverage.

(i) what a "netblock" is 🤔 (okay, I'm a dinosaur, and that's probably an outdated term; these days, all the kids are calling it "your range of static IP addresses," which is way too many syllables for me)
(ii) what a "routable" IP address is 😳
