I can't remember if this chud blocked me over politics or because he's a huge streaming booster but I think it was the latter and anyway #NeverStream

People who don't own televisions are never watching movies on physical media, so if anything it's a positive indicator of suckage. #NeverStream

Apart from an Australian Blu-ray of MAY DECEMBER, none of these has a home video release anywhere in the world. AFTER THE HUNT is Amazon, so it probably won't get one either. This is bad! #NeverStream

Somebody on the other site (@RDom1114) pointed this out to me, it looks like the owners of the Cosby show did a recent HD upgrade of using AI which turned this admittedly pretty weird apron into generic AI gibberish.

"Ad-supported" answers your own question. No one has needed to watch a commercial since 1978. #NeverStream

The ad-supported service is home to the biggest content library of any streamer. So why is Tubi still considered a social punching bag?

Infuriating to see important new releases dumped to streaming sites ahead of even an announcement for home video. Obviously, hold out for BD or UHD. #NeverStream
For anyone who missed it in theaters (or never got the chance to see it due to limited distribution), NICKEL BOYS is available today to rent or buy digitally. I've become a strong advocate for buying the movies you meant to see but didn't. Costs less than two tickets to the multiplex, usually.

And I was publishing pieces in 2010 urging everyone not to abandon physical media, because this would happen. #NeverStream
Streaming in 2010: You can watch an entire catalog of amazing movies and TV shows for a reasonable monthly fee

Streaming in 2025: our library is Batman movies and 28 seasons of a Tim Allen sitcom, it costs $159/month. We just destroyed the last piece of evidence that Mister Rogers ever existed
Scoop: Warner Bros. Discovery has quietly pulled "The West Wing" from its Max streamer as part of a cost-cutting move following a ROI evaluation. Details in @status.news: link.status.news/3C72V5Z

OMG instead of marketing new material the streaming studios con creators into thinking they are being marketed by quite literally putting up a single billboard near where they live/work.
