Congratulations on a mammoth effort but this large group. It seems that killing bugs harder and faster is not the key to serious TB infections (nb NEWSTRAT-TB). The key is likely earlier presentation to care (difficult) and some form of Host Directed Therapies.

I am hoping the NewStrat TB trial will help with the “effectively treating” question (NewStrat nothing to do with me - but they are a fab research group). The diagnostics bit is really tricky though.
