I remember playing Petz 5 on my grandmother's PC on Windows XP and going to Nitrome or Newgrounds when the game crashed. Gathering around the TV to watch new episodes on Disney or Cartoon Network every Friday.

Snow Drift is a game about sliding and beating the levels, passing the penguins along the way. It's a fantastic game from the old Flash Player era. I have in mind to make more fanarts focused on old Flash games.

I´ve discovered that Nitrome published the Crater engine, a fast physics simulation for handling large quantities of solid rectangular crates for games like Steamlands. So I started porting from actionscript to javascript, and next Lua/C for Playdate sdk :-) #gamedev

Ironically it’s exactly translation companies that I don’t trust…depending on the regions they might *know* enough of the material they’re dealing with (at least Nitrome games are extremely well-known in the mainland), but if not, a lot of context needs to be provided…
