Good turnout in Ruston today for #NoKings #NoKingsRuston: about 315 folks

So insanely proud of everyone today who showed up to protest all over our nation. Back in April I went to my first protest and today I co-lead my towns second No Kings Rally. You matter and you can make a difference! We all can do something to make our nation better

This weekend is the #nokings rally across our country. More than 2500 events celebrating what our Democracy can and should look like! I’ll be in #downtownruston Saturday morning playing some tunes & celebrating my 1st amendment rights, and I’d love you and a friend to join me. #NoKingsRuston

The American system of government is brilliant in how it layered checks and balances into every facet, protecting the whole by empowering each branch to help wrangle the others. Those checks and balances are all under attack #NoKingsRuston #Indivisible
