👍 After #OFSI’s early struggle to keep up with the rapid rollout of sanctions following Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, it’s clear that #OFSI is now starting to find its feet as a more credible & proactive enforcer of sanctions. But much more needs to be done to deliver results:

On 14 March, OFSI issued a Notice saying that enforcement action has been taken against 3 Non-Governmental Organisations (NGO) for failing to respond to OFSI’s requests for information. However, OFSI assess the breach to be of moderate severity and therefore disclosure is deemed to be the most appropriate and proportionate enforcement action. The 3 NGO, all of which are on the Charity Commission Register, were Sahara Hands; Peculiar Peoples’ Palace Ministries; and Impact Planet.
