At Tuckahoe @tuckahoe.apsva.us, I observed lessons, tried the front-office “toss”challenge, and learned how students and staff are giving back to our community. Students help grow a garden and donate fresh produce to the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC). 👏 #APSBack2School #OneTeamOneAPS

I had a great visit to Kenmore Middle School. I joined Mr. Pratt’s band class, where every student has an instrument at home and school thanks to grant support. I also stopped by Milken Award-winning teacher Ms. Maranchuck’s class.

I'm grateful to have spent time today with our Bilingual Family Specialists at their back-to-school meeting. I spoke with them about the vital role they play in connecting families and schools. I'm proud of their dedication and the heart they bring to serving our community every day. #OneTeamOneAPS
