Persona 3: Reload was already great, but Episode Aigis makes it an *achievement.* I have my quibbles with its gameplay loop and cost, but the narrative of the DLC won me over and brought me to tears.
I'm so grateful to have been recommended it.

What a beautiful experience.
Persona 3: Reload was already great, but Episode Aigis makes it an *achievement.* I have my quibbles with its gameplay loop and cost, but the narrative of the DLC won me over and brought me to tears.

I have a similar issue with sections of the in-engine cutscenes. But I overall am liking those better ironically.
Also WHY didn’t you go full “ewww” factory w/ the first guy turning into goop???? I know you can, look at P5.

Gotta admit I’m not the biggest fan of how “clean” the 2D animated cutscenes look. Not in the sense that they are bad, but all the abstract horror-esque elements are mostly gone. The funky & unsettling angles, using of smearing/motion lines, etc.

Also it’s amazing what just turning down the background brightness a little does for not making the Dorm look like someone cranked the fluorescents to 110%. (The lack of shadows still bugs me tho…)
