This study is an example of what we can already be using to plan for the blow to our state budget - we *know* that *at least* these enrollment & funding losses WILL happen, so we should be budgeting as such! #PeopleOverPavement #PeopleOverPotholes
Work requirements do not work.

If enacted in 2026, national #Medicaid work requirements could result in:

📉 Up to 5.2M adults losing coverage
💼 449,000 jobs lost
💰 State GDPs could shrink by up to $59 billion
💸 $4.4B drop in state and local tax revenue

📍 See the projected state-by-state impact ⤵️
How National Medicaid Work Requirements Would Lead to Large-Scale Job Losses, Harm State Economies, and Strain Budgets
States could see billions of dollars in reduced economic activity, lower state/local tax revenues, and large job losses if Medicaid work requirements are imposed.

Learn more about how the federal #Medicaid cuts will affect #Michigan. I personally want to put #PeopleOverPavement and #PeopleOverPotholes and keep rural hospitals, health centers, and residential addiction treatment centers open and seniors in nursing homes #NoMedicaidCuts #MiLeg

When one community's walking/biking infrastructure is threatened by highway expansion, we're all affected. Stand with Covington - tell @FHWA to protect Riverfront Commons Trail. #PeopleOverPavement Comment by 2/23: bit.ly/3CCCd5y

The cost of solving chronic homelessness is the same as building Highway 413. People shouldn’t have to sleep on the streets so we can save 10 seconds on a commute. It’s time to put housing ahead of highways. #PeopleOverPavement
