Finished 2024 with 16 uk lifers now on 393. Also went to Spain for bearded vultures for the first time since 2020, a trip to Ireland for the yellow crowned night heron and first time birding cyprus.

After dawn at Swinemoor, it was a joy to head to North Landing and watch the seven Lesser White-fronts, one of which is bearing Swedish colour-rings. They spent the whole time bullying their companion Russian White-front juvenile
