Book seventeen of 2024. My Brief History by Stephen Hawking.

A short memoir from Stephen Hawking. Interesting to read and with a whole chapter (Chapter 11) on the physics of time travel, it satisfied my physics brain.

John Candy was renowned for being a genuinely lovely human being and was loved by everyone. This book gives some interesting insights into his life and career.

Book twelve of 2024. Days at the Morisaki Bookshop by Satoshi Yagisawa.
Takako finds out her boyfriend is getting married, but to someone else. What follows is some time at the family bookshop, and some quality family time. Gorgeous book. Wonderful translation.

Book eleven of 2024. A Psalm for the Wild Built by Becky Chambers. One day all of the robots in Panga gained self-awarenness and wandered off. Centuries later a tea monk comes across a single robot... Lovely story.

Book ten of 2024. The Comfort Book by Matt Haig. A collection of short thoughts and suggestions for making the bad days better. Haig's writing style is always calming, this book doubly so.

Book five of 2024. Printer's Devil Court by Susan Hill. Spotted this short story in the horror section and the blurb interested me. Very brief. Interesting, but by no means thrilling. #ReadsOf2024
