PvE Survival ‘ICARUS: Console Edition’ Launches Early 2026

This week, developer RocketWerkz Studio and porting developer GRIP Studios announced that their player versus environment survival title 'ICARUS: Console Edition' will launch across Xbox Series and PlayStation 5 consoles sometime early next year. Previously released on PC via Steam earlier in the decade, the game is set on the hostile planet of Icarus, where humanity’s attempt at terraforming a new home spectacularly failed. Players will encounter both Earthlike and extraterrestrial environments filled with unrelenting storms, deadly fauna, toxic air, and sky-shattering lightning storms. As they fight to survive on the alien surface, humanity’s bravest souls will have to explore, craft, hunt, and prospect for invaluable exotic matter, as they try to endure this formidable final frontier.
