The Create3 ROS processor was severely over worked, running at 50% at idle with many publishers turned off, and totally swamped by third party ROS topic traffic. I pushed iRobot to create a segmented DDS "republisher" to isolate the Create3, but some intrinsic action calls could still swamp it.

There was also a RoS screening at the BFI in 2024. Michael Praed was unexpectedly called back for a job and had to cancel at 24 hours notice. He signed 300+ promotional cards so that every attendee got one, being the absolute sweetheart that he is.

Abrams justifiably gets a lot of guff for the desperate retconning he did in RoS, but I also think TLJ suffered from how time it spent tossing TFA's mystery boxes that Johnson clearly didn't care for. It all felt disjointed to me. Others' mileage may vary, obviously.
