The main story mode of Star Allies is fine, nothing too spectacular and some of the levels are pretty forgettable and or uninspired but I wouldn’t say I had a negative experience but it never reached the levels of rtdl, robobot, and Triple deluxe but the side content makes up for that I think

My best guess for today's nintendo music drop is probably a kirby game since it's been a while since the last one was added, which was dream buffet back in october I think. Super star and 64 would be good picks, or any of the modern kumazaki games (rtdl, tdx, and pr)

what i find most interesting is that pop star 64 is the only pre-rtdl alt music track that wasn‘t arranged.

Depends on the game. It's pretty solid in games post RtDL, especially in Forgotten Land

My biiiiig disappointment in Kirby Air riders is the lack of the kumazaki era atmosphere in the ui and charming little details all over... The world maps and menus and stuff in rtdl / 3d / rbb etc make me so happy but air riders is just "Sakurai sleek"

"the ancients" built nova from what I remember, because in RtDl magolor talks about them making "clockwork stars". which has got to be what nova is . also it's funny that multiple times nova has interpreted a wish to involve destroying popstar

Gf is playing RTDL Deluxe and got the mask of Pick (rick’s girlfriend) and I had to explain that Rick of Kirby Air Riders fame canonically does have a girlfriend who’s just in Dreamland 3 sidequests and went 21 years without acknowledgement
