Despite there being a lack of forensic evidence, and inconsistencies in witness testitmonies, she was sentenced to 86 years in prison. She has been held in Administrative Segregation for 14 years (longer than any other woman in the US federal system).

Indeed. There are also a lot of issues. For example, Hegseth and war crimes. I think you cannot be pardoned before declared culpable in court. The only option is that the DOJ accuses him. He admits his culpability, is sentenced for life and Trump pardons him?
