While it agrees with aspects of solarpunk media like environmentalism, solarpunk is distinctly NOT dystopian and is ALWAYS utopian. It is also a project beyond fiction, it's a goal to achieve in the real world.

SOLARPUNX isn't pro-communist, as I'm not a communist, and i don't want the story to be propaganda. I mean, it's technically propaganda in the sense it is media made with "biased" intentions, but it's not propaganda in the sense i want to promote a specific ideology.

Basically all of the famous dystopian works like animal farm are blatant anti-communist propaganda, but they are still arguably good and important pieces of fiction. I gues SOLARPUNX is adressing something these works didn't, which is distinguishing fascism from authoritarianism.

I'm kind of scared that people will misinterpret the message of SOLARPUNX as "nazis should be forgiven" when what i really want to say is that "people in power are obligated to sacrifice themselves to protect the weak" and that authoritarian establishments should be abolished.
