HUD redesign (mostly) complete. You can tweak some features like opacity, placement, style too

Your FPS has too many buttons. Tried to play Shady Knight, too many buttons. Deadlink, too many buttons. Loved the way Hyper Demon handled this with the context based action tied to a small set of inputs. I tried to do similar with SPLEENWEEVIL

Writing your own 'engine' is a ton of work. I love the gameplay code but collisions, physics, rendering is such a time sink!

I'm going to pivot to @godotengine.org again for the new thing.

This Youtube video popped up the other day "Building a game as FAST as possible" - this is a full time indie dev and I believe the intention was to take 4 months?!

Taking a little break from #Godot / #SPLEENWEEVIL to do a bit of a 3d thing with FNA and MoonTools.ECS (both are great frameworks / libraries). Advise checking them out if you like that sort of thing.

A bit more progress from my #XNA / #MoonTools.ECS demo project - looking a lot more like #SPLEENWEEVIL in this one. I'll possibly go with a style similar to Lander / Zarch, maybe :-)
