Happy valent-worm 🤣 The seamouse (actually a polychaete not a mouse) is named after the Greek goddess of love Aphrodite. And I do love them 🥰 #ValentinesDay

I came across a creature I’d never seen before typically found in the Atlantic or Mediterranean Sea not typical to Irish sea - a sea mouse

11x4cm
recorded it on the National Biodiversity app

have ever come across one along Irish shores before? or Welsh Devon/Cornwall shores? #seamouse

What a lovely name and

Secondly: worm that has ' hairs' and lives underwater, looks a bit like a mouse and is iridescent!!

SEAMOUSE! It’s a worm! With rainbow “fur”. Linnaeus named it after Aphrodite
Found an exciting sea creature! Iridescent! What is it though? ⁦@helenscales⁩ ⁦@ProfCallum⁩ ?
