I am making a SharePoint site for the first time and apparently group calendars can only display as a list and must be edited from Outlook, while list-based calendars can only display like a normal calendar (week or month) and must be edited directly from the SP site

The Warlock ransomware gang has claimed to have hit UK-based Colt Technology Services, stealing hundreds of gigabytes of customer details and internal data after seemingly exploiting a vulnerability in Microsoft Sharepoint.

It’s based on Electron, for starters, which means the interface in will never be native to any OS. It’s tied to sharepoint. It’s slow. Other teams within the same organization aren’t discoverable.

I can keep going.

They suck so incredibly much - Sharepoint is good only for storing documents, but not for cataloguing them or searching through them
