Today it was our Beyond Labels workshop. Dr Lucy Johnstone & I worked with attendees to reframe the narrative - looking at an alternative approach to medicalising trauma. Everyone was very engaged, and discussion was valuable.

We are getting ready to present to DSL’s across Surrey this morning. It’s a large group, and I will be sharing some of my experiences as a S/A’d child who was not safeguarded from abuse. Cindy and I will talk about our #CSA survivor/practitioner co-delivered training, #SideBySideCSA #education

Cindy and I will be presenting to the Surrey DSL network tomorrow. Just had a successful run through. We will highlight the need for this survivor/practitioner led #CSA training in all schools - & the importance of delivering to all staff.
