A Pine Siskin perched in a Quaking Aspen in autumn. A small species that will spend the winter in Saskatchewan in temperatures down to -40°. A tough little bird for #SmallBirdSaturday.

It’s #SmallBirdSaturday! I usually take pictures of ducks and larger but I have two little ones I really like.

The Junco was hanging out next to a walking trail. He was so cute he deserved a photo.

The hummingbird became a regular visitor to my balcony. We had a couple interactions. Also very cute

Now for a theme i hadn't heard of until today, so for #SmallBirdSaturday i've gone with a Stonechat, Blue Tit, Goldcrest & Marsh Tit from various venues this year.
