This applies mostly to solo/smaller indie devs, but also to juniors thinking about their very first app.

1. A small game (or app) brings u first experience without drowning in complexity or "oh, and I have to do that as well".

I think when tons of ppl were like "come on, let's make polished low-poly indie smallgames for apple arcade!" which A) was already a really punitive/pay to play platform and B) got buried within months of anything coming out was the moment I was really like... how can you really justify this lol
