I’ve been liking the Vans MTE crosspath sneakers. Kinda the right mix between the older lace up style of their board shoes, and a hiking boot. Has interchangeable insoles, comes in a few neutral colors. There’s also the XC which is more sporty.

Came across a pair of these Sailor Moon sneakers from a few years ago for a good price and finally caved. As much as I dislike Vans, the quality of these is decent. These will definitely pick up color transfer as well, so they'll be special occasion.
