Detail about specific wording regarding a non-focal result found in Schade et al. 2023.
Spinosauria/Spinosauridae stem/node dichotomy would IMO be a helpful thing to have.

Godzilla is very likely not a dinosaur, my logic behind this is.. what kind of dinosaur would he be? Let’s go through the options:
Spinosauridae: spinosauridae have very long and slender snouts for catching fish. They likely would never lose this trait.

The Asset looked more akin to original depictions of the animal when it was discovered by Ernst Stromer Von Reichenbach in 1915, The asset has more in common with Melgalsosaurs then Spinosauridae. Doctor Henry Wu was unimpressed by the asset development and has requested to terminate the asset.

I didn’t realize until very recently that the spinosauridae clade was so scientifically controversial but I like to fantasize that if I made a drastic career pivot I could fix them

Spinosaurids are as enigmatic as they are diverse, Suchomimus at perhaps 11 metres was the largest known member of the Baryonychinae, while Irritator at around 6 metres is regarded as the smallest of the Spinosauridae.
