Not true. When people say the Earth was warmer they mean millions of years ago, back to the Eocene Optimum where there were zero ice sheets.
They believe that the stronger sunflares and shifting of the poles is causing more rapid temperature changes and forcing us into a Thermal Maximum.

windy. cirrus formed actually when the atmosphere wasn’t thick enough to block out the majority of the sunflares and rays :3c they have bits of the sun absorbed into their form!
