FYI Vanguard is a brokerage. CALPERS owns the stock and does their own sustainabilty audits and votes accordingly. I read their reports as a favor to a friend in CA.

Those should be defacto parts of it, absolutely.

Sustainabilty makes affordability easier.

And we can’t truly have accountability without autonomy.

So yeah. Those are part of it.

I imagine the founding of any particular party is a fractious affair but I have my doubts about the sustainabilty of this one.

The leadership is already extemely divided and I think their 'members' expectations on the degree to which they influence the parties structure, function, and policies

I suspect the more Green looks like the hope for people who want environmental sustainabilty, PR, better social support and a way back into the EU the more people will flock to it. It offers what Labour refuse to offer and what lib dems don't have the numbers to offer.

"Buffett Indicator" only goes by 1 thing. ANd it ain't planet, energy, sustainabilty, it goes by profit. Wait til AI figures out that Capitalism works by incentive, not by the good of the people, the planet, etc. Why would AI care about incentives for good or for bad? AI has no conscious either!

It was a pleasure to lead the selection of these outstanding candidates on behalf of @tum.de.

Sustainabilty is not the issue.

Stuckley,Becklumb, & Frigon showed in their paper:
How the Bank of Canada Creates Money Through its Asset Puchases
They showed the federal govt cannot run out of money. This is because money creation through asset purchases by the B of C is an internal govt process

Hate to think what’s lurking beneath the ‘Sustainabilty’ tab then!

Pipelines = #strandedAssests

Was that posturing for the green vote? 🔥🌎🤮

The Great derangement syndrome:
People telling me to stop talking about a burning planet when our Prime Minister has a "nation-building" plan to build oil pipelines, repeal the tanker ban, kill the emissions cap.
Trump is a convenient excuse for the plant burners. www.ctvnews.ca/politics/art...
Carney doesn’t rule out new pipeline to B.C., repealing tanker ban and emissions cap
As the federal government works towards its next batch of major projects, Prime Minister Mark Carney is not ruling out a new pipeline to the B.C. coast or lifting environmental policies like the tanke...

In the best of all possible worlds, society would be organized in a way that encouraged ecological sustainabilty, multidisciplinary education, consensus based government and long term big picture thinking. It's truly tragic that is the opposite of what we have

One can hope! I’m used to, at least on the O&M side, the pessimism that using an interstate engineering firm is a prelude to eventual privatization, but more and more my gripes are on the sustainabilty-of-the-project-post-Engineering Award Win side.
