La Chine Rouge, has since 1949 seen Taiwan as a breakaway state, and has vowed to take it back. Gold trading would reduce the problems that sanctions would cause for them, but if they took TMSC and Taiwan it would be (in their eyes) worth it. So In short the gold trading may be a preparation for war

These findings demonstrate the therapeutic potential of TMSC-SKMC spheroids for sarcopenia caused by various factors, providing a promising new avenue for treating this debilitating condition.

This study explored the use of tonsil-derived mesenchymal stem cells (TMSCs) to treat dexamethasone-induced sarcopenia in a rat model. The researchers generated 3D TMSC-derived skeletal muscle cell (TMSC-SKMC) spheroids and transplanted them into the sarcopenia model.

Nexperia: Dutch government takes control of China-owned chip firm
The move, which is aimed to protect supplies of technology, could raise tensions between the EU and China.

This study shows a correlation between TMSC values and clinical live birth rate (CLBR) when considering the total number of oocytes used, supporting the notion that sperm quality is a key factor in achieving pregnancy, in conjunction with female factors.

Però Nvidia ha acquistato parte di Intel, immagino avrà la possibilità ora di usare le sue fonderie senza dover più rivolgersi a TMSC.

Now that you mention it, that's a great reason for China to do exactly that, cripple TMSC, if they feel threatened by being behind in the race to AGI. Wouldn't even need a full-scale invasion. I suspect they don't feel threatened to that extent. Their 5-10 years started in 2022, at the latest.

Yes as Former Singapore FM George Yeo said: "China doesn't need Taiwan TSMC anymore like USA & Europeans still do. So if the Taiwan War started, China will destroy TMSC first. Then Taiwan will become useless to US/Europe, and they won't come to defend it"

TMSC, its R and D still in Taiwan (offshoring some production to Europe and USA) and Samsung are the leading companies

But here comes Japan

It appears to be focused on development of its own semi-conductors, then both production for itself and also machine tech for others to produce their chips.

it aint just going to be Hyundai and LG. TMSC will now think twice about that massive fab plant in AZ. asian companies are now thinking of getting out.

And who manufactures those advanced chips in the iPhone?
TMSC in Taiwan does.

And who makes the machines TMSC uses to make those chips?
ASML in the Netherlands (in Europe) does.

Because U.S. companies don't have the technology. Intel tried to compete but failed, they too use ASML machines now.

this is huge news in #asia. all media in #korea is blasting this. why would any asian company now build here? tmsc will think twice now.

Trump's massive raid on the Hyundai plant in Georgia is huge news all around the world. But in the US it's barely even reported, much less discussed and explained. Something fundamentally wrong with US media.
September 8, 2025 at 8:39 PM
i am sure in the BOD of all these Asian companies that would be investing and creating, are now thinking twice, no matter what fartnozzle says... why would TMSC build that plant in AZ with no experience of what they do.

We just called ownership by the government fascism.
Hopefully we got a gods deal, or is intel going to let TMSC continue to blow by it?
September 5, 2025 at 6:14 AM
No worries. The #StrategyCheese has it all figured out. INDOPACOM gets the Tomahawk it needs to flatten TMSC. And that's all they get. CENTCOM reserves the balance for the Houthi badlands.

Which TMSC? Arguing with you is like battling Jello. Wiggly and awful.

And it would depend where the microcode is running and for what. But microcode has little to no use for Sprites. The right way to do it already exists using no software. You seed the registers and the hardware does its thing.
September 1, 2025 at 11:19 AM
Are you even sure that the TMSC isn't running microcode? What difference would this make?

While Intel can access all the latest technologies and machines from ASML, even as expensive as they are, TMSC have developed a supply chain to ensure high quality silicon and the process to reduce the fraction of faulty chips to low levels.
August 30, 2025 at 7:15 PM
Let’s be real - a important factor why US based chip foundries can’t compete with TMSC is they cannot pay the low salaries that are paid in Taiwan to those specialized and competent workers. A stimulus like the Chips act or even am investment won’t change this long term.
