WELKER: Part of your tactic is to imitate some of what we see from online from President Trump. Do you risk normalizing that behavior?

NEWSOM: Quite the contrary. The whole expression was to not allow it to be normalized. He's dressing up as the Pope! It's madness. And so I put a mirror up to it.

Defending a guy with a Nazi tattoo by alleging a conspiracy masterminded by a Jewish man is a....questionable...tactic.

A decent tactic for any team playing against Man City would be to not give Haaland a bunch of one on ones with the keeper.

This is quite a story: the US employed every strongarm tactic available, including personal threats against delegates and their families, to derail an agreement on reducing shipping emissions that was almost finalized. on.ft.com/47lq3dZ

Speaker Johnson just confessed.

The Republicans are holding canceled SNAP as a negotiating tactic.

Taking children and their families hostage is reprehensible.

Attack from behind. The only tactic they’re confident in.

The way to beat this tactic is to say “No, you’re trolling/lying/arguing in bad faith. You’re trying to do something malicious and we should treat you like that.”

It's wild that Green are representative of the 'vibes era' when they're the only one with actual coherent political stances.

As opposed to Labour's tactic of flag fondeling and authoritarian bullshit.
Politics is in a vibes era. Nigel Farage and Zack Polanski are proof of that. But maybe Keir Starmer can take positivity from Ruben Amorim.

Trump and the Republicans are literally starving people as a negotiating tactic.

First, IIRC from your posts, you're a fellow farm worker. Not a farmer, but employed by farmers.

Knowing most of our bosses are millionaires is VERY useful information. Claiming to be poor is a go-to negotiating tactic to drive down wages.

Stop letting them do that to you! C'mon!

This is an old tactic, older even than the 1920s Vance is inventing. After WWI in Canada a strikebreaking tactic was "hey returning soldiers, you don't want to side with the immigrants taking your jobs, right"; the answer from many soldiers was "nice try, shut up" (I'm working on a book about this)
JD Vance claims that diversity weakens unions, as people end up distrusting each other and not organizing.

Let me tell you two menswear stories related to this claim. 🧵

So every person with a common non-white sounding ethnic name will be challenged at the polls. This is a voter suppression tactic not a border control policy.

The reason this “welfare queen” lie has been such an effective *tactic* is that it invites already-racist listeners to associate the existence of visible Black beauty conventions with fraud. So everywhere they look, they see “evidence” of the fascist lie.

🕎🇵🇸 #WATCH | “This is an evil tactic used to silence anyone who dares to stand up for justice and peace,” said Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss at the press conference on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, on the steps of Cityhall in NYC, denouncing the Zionist attacks on mayoral candidate Mr. Mamdani

Along the lines of people dressing up in inflatable frog costumes, I think an effective resistance tactic against these pathetic men could involve crowds of people pointing, cracking up and falling to the floor in hysterical laughter as tubas play clown music in the background

Weaponizing food access is a war tactic.

This is class war.
It's been class war.
Yes, it has other intersectionality.
But we outnumber them if we want to.
The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email

Judges might’ve ruled for Trump to fund SNAP but let’s be real he already let people starve once. He shut down USAID, ignored court orders, and watched warehouses of food rot while mothers and kids died waiting for help Congress had already approved. This is a war tactic.
