TarfalaResearchStation @stockholm-uni.bsky.social @bolincentre.bsky.social is now open for the season! A first check on Storglaciären revealed more winter accumulation on the #glacier so far than expected! And #northernlights are still frequent :) We are looking forward to welcoming our visitors!

Next is Rabots Glaciers #TarfalaResearchStation @stockholm-uni.bsky.social #WorldGlacierMonitoringService wgms.ch bolin.su.se/data/tarfala-rabot-surface-mass-balance-1 Annual surface mass balance 2023/24 was negative across the entire glacier. Lets hope for a better glacier #IYGP year 2024/25.
