Really dig the Teisco and the Luna. The Luna is gorgeous. Haven't had a chance to play with one so I have no idea about build quality etc, but it it is definitely beautiful.

Here's some weirdness I saw at the music store today.
Here's a 12-string acoustic guitar with 4 extra harp strings. The brand on this is Tennessee, but I haven't been able to find any other info on it. Here's a black Dean Explorer bass. (I can't remember what they're really called, but you get the idea.) It's a John Entwistle signature model. It's got white spiderwebs painted on it, and It's also got bright green strings. Here's a Luna acoustic guitar with a neat landscape on it. The sun is setting behind some mountains, and a bear is walking towards some trees. Everything looks like it's made out of different colors of wood. Here's a guitar that's similar to the Teisco E-110 Tulip I posted a while back, but the cutaway horns are curved inwards. The brand on the headstock is Strad-O-Lin. Behind it is a Wylde Audio Odin Grail Norse Dragon. It's basically a Les Paul with an extra point on the end and a bent cutaway horn.

Teisco - EP-10T hollow body electric guitar - 2pickups sunburst. This guitar is a 1966, Teisco EP-10T, thinline, hollow body electric guitar with a sunburst finish that was made in Japan. The neck is straight and all the electronics work properly. It's in near mint condition; the only thing that makes it not mint is one very minor finish crack on the back and some factory blemishes in the finish; otherwise it's virtually brand new. The guitar was owned by one person who took meticulous care of it. He said it was played very little over the years and it sure shows! It was purchased from a "Leeds" store in Florida in 1966. Leeds was later purchased by the Service Merchandise chain. Description from VintageSilvertones.com The pickups have six different setting combinations. There's toggle button for "rhythm" and "solo"; which give either a twangy (rhythm) tone or full sound (solo). They can be used in conjunction with the individual pickups or with both together. So this guitar is capable of a very broad range of tones. The whammy bar works well. It plays and feels amazing. It has a laminated neck with adjustable truss rod, steel reinforced neck, triple-plated chrome hardware, the pickups have laminated poles, a roller-bridge, and whammy bar. I didn't know about that guitar. I guess Los Straitjackets got a sponsorship gig. Their guitar def has the flavor of the Teiscos. The headstock looks more like a Bigsby. Teisco definitely influence guitar makers with their wacky designs.

Silvertone-Teisco model #ET-460/K4L, solid body, electric guitar with 4 pickups This is a 1967, metal-flake blue, Silvertone, solid body, electric guitar made for Sears by Teisco of Japan. The Teisco model numbers are ET-460 or K4L but I haven't been able to locate the actual Sears catalog model number. It has four pickups with many different combinations of controls to attain a large variety of tones. The bridge pickup by itself is super hot and surf rock sounding; it cranks! There's on and off switches for each pickup and a "rhythm" and "solo" control which basically makes the sound brighter or more muted. The Rhythm and Solo switch works fine but it clicks in more than the notched positions. It gets a little scratchy when changing positions though. Description from VintageSilvertones.com The guitar is in good shape but does have several nicks and scratches. Someone touched up the nicks so it's got a pretty serious vintage vibe going on. The neck has also been sanded down. The whammy bar/tremolo works great! The guitar is completely original except for two replacement screws that hold up the bridge. It has an adjustable truss rod. This Silvertone is a totally fun guitar to play. It's clean enough for a collector and rocks well for a player. Description from VintageSilvertones.com

Silvertone-Teisco 1445L Mosrite solid body 3 pickup electric guitar. This is a fully bound, solid body, double cutaway, Silvertone Mosrite-style, electric guitar made in Japan by Teisco. The guitar features a sunburst finish, a tortoise shell pickguard on which all of the electronics are mounted, three single coil pickups, a fully adjustable roller-style bridge, a whammy tailpiece, and the German carve found on Mosrite guitars. When first seeing it, I refered to it as a "Speed Racer" guitar. That one was metallic blue.

Are there any luthiers, or does anyone know a luthier on here?

I have a 60 year old Teisco that’s been staring at me for a few months now as it really needs a rebuild.
Just not sure how far I can go with the parts currently on it.
Can microphonic pickups be saved?
Can you even get Teisco parts? 🤷‍♂️

Some of the Teisco hollowbodies are interesting. The Vegas 66 and EP10T are kind of unique and lightweight; which can be a plus for some players.

Teisco Spectrum 5 Acrylic
The Teisco Spectrum 5 has a bunch of neat features: split pickups, multiple switches for different tones, and a 4+2 split headstock. This specific one is also made out of acrylic instead of wood. Only 100 were made.
